Vitamins Just Got Easier. Everyone wants to stay healthy, and taking vitamins every day is a great way to do it. But remembering each morning to open lots of vitamin bottles and take a dose of each is really inconvenient (and easy to forget). At Pack & Pop, we’ve got your daily routine sorted via our monthly subscription service.
Why did you apply to the program?
As pharmacists seeking to move away from the traditional retail shop environment, the programs available to us within pharmacy are geared towards continuing the current ‘retail service model’. We needed to partner with an organisation outside our health sector, open to a company seeking to disrupt and innovate for our patients. Our MVP to market evolved around providing convenient personalised vitamin sachets to travellers and frequent business flyers. Hence why we applied to the Slingshot Horizon’s Accelerator program.
What’s the biggest learning you’ll take away from the Slingshot program?
To think bigger. Our plan has always been to scale to a full service pharmacy platform for all Australians. Executing towards that goal meant we wanted to study new methodology not seen in tradition community pharmacy. The program has allowed us to learn so much, such as implementation of ideas to market via Pretotyping, marketing at scale for a wider national audience, the importance of understanding your brand, and maintaining your customer obsession.
What was your favourite aspect of the program?
The group learning environment and being able to share our experiences with others in the startup community. There are some amazing individuals who are pushing the boundary and disrupting with great ideas.
What’s next for your Startup?
We will be continuing to grow our Pack & Pop full service pharmacy platform into 2019 with key stakeholders and community health organisations. We look forward to providing a personalised medicine compliance solution for all Australians.
